This YouTube video is a music video for Phil Wickham’s new single, a song called ‘Sunday is Coming - Hometown Version.’ 

This lyric video has a simple background of a sunset over the water. The lyrics appear over the video image, and it's all quite peaceful. 

The song, ‘Sunday is Coming - Hometown Version,’ is about Jesus dying on the cross for us and all he went through beforehand. It’s a reminder of his sacrifice, and that we should focus on Sunday, the day he rose again. That Sunday is the most important day in the history of the world.

The chorus says it all:

This version of the song is the Hometown version, which is slightly different from the original. It is a softer and quieter version that appeals to some people. 

According to YouTube, Phil Wickham is a Grammy-nominated, Dove award-winning artist and leader in the modern worship movement. He has released 10 worship albums; his first came out in 2003. He started leading worship for his youth group when he was just 13 years old. 

Many in the comments really enjoyed this song and video. One commenter says, “The Hometown Version is filled with God's beauty while remembering Jesus' life and sacrifice for each one of us. We have so much to look forward to - Oh, Church Arise!” and another states, “So beautiful Phil Wickham. I love this Hometown Version. You are a true man of God. I love you and your beautiful music. May God continue to bless you.”

Legendary musician Dionne Warwick and her son, Damon Elliott, sang together on Good Morning America, turning in a lovely performance of their gospel tune, “I Kneel.”

Praying and communicating with the Lord is something everyone could do more. It’s simply impossible to pray too much. He wants us to be in constant communication with Him. How else do you grow a relationship with someone except through talking and communicating? 

No matter the situation or the circumstance, prayer is always the answer. He wants us to reach out to Him when things look bleak and hopeless and when life is good. He desires continuous communication with those who love and follow Him. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dionne and Damon perform “I Kneel” live on Good Morning America. It’s a tune about the importance of prayer in all of life’s situations and circumstances – during the bad and the good, morning, noon and night. 

“I kneel before the Father
And I kneel before the Son
Whether I’m moving mountains or turning stones or crawling in the valley low
I kneel before the Father”

Life can become overwhelming and get to the point where going on feels like asking too much. In those instances, we should reach out to the Father for help, comfort, guidance and direction. He will provide and be that shelter in the storm.

On the other hand, life provides several reasons to celebrate and be joyful. In those times, we should also be in prayer, thanking the Lord for what He has done and for the many blessings in our lives. 

No matter what is going on or the situation, God seeks constant and consistent communication from His children. Prayer is a necessary and vital part of a daily and ongoing walk with the Lord. 

Philippians 4:6 “In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

I once read a book where a lot of the people in a town decided to live their lives according to God's Word. I was so taken in by it that I decided to write this song. Yes to live a godly life style sure does make a big difference!

Jesus is loved all around the world. He gives us hope and so much more!

Jesus is the hope for the lonely, and all those living in unfortunate circumstances. He has promised to love His people forever.

God is glorified forever. He has risen!

God's word is being passed on across the world saving many lost souls.

Every time we think of Jesus he brings joy into our lives. He fills every day with his love and passion.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life.

A wonderful Christian story with a happy ending!

The message is no matter what you go through in life God is there to help you. God will be there always to love His children.
